Ahh HK - great place! spent 4 years there - but way back in late eighties.

Avoid the main touristy shops on Nathan Road, and sneak down the alleys to find the cheaper less known stores - or even better shop in the New Territories

I must say KGAdmin you certainly know how to holiday, four years :shock:

i only have a week.
You haven't got any jobs going have you.

Now that has got me thinking, i could even make Lady lettuce a cup of tea. :lol:

Ahhh oldherbaceous - it was tour of duty (and not mine either, I was just being dragged along

However, it is a fantastic place, we're pondering a return holiday there sometime, so see how its changed since being back in China's hands. So far, it seems to have faired very well - according to recent reports anyway.

Hi guys

Back again!
I just noticed I didn't thank Herby for his well wishes - how rude of me. Sorry about that. I was in a packing frenzy.
I had a quick peek on here while I was away to pick a very interesting pm from Johnboy. Glad to see everyone arguing away about organic gardening still.

And big hugs and congrats to Chantal on her wedding. Photos please!
I tried to take some photos of interesting flowers while I was there but only have one unfortunately which I'll post later.
Had a fantastic holiday and would heartily recommend Hong Kong as a holiday destination as long as you don't mind a bit of heat. It's cheap when you get there and flights are getting very cheap with Oasis airlines.
Back to work today so I'll try and catch up on everything later.
Happy to be home amongst you rascally lot again.
