Looks like once again my peas have got this again, I tried a different type this year, alderman tall peas, hoping not to get it, any ideas ? I thought I would just stick to picking the peas as mange tout form now on would this stop the pest from getting established? Are there resistant strains that I can grow next time?

I've found I only get pea moth on peas I harvest around now (saw my first last week). So my solution is to not grow late peas. My cropping will be over by the end of this week probably. Later peas are more susceptible to mildew too. Not the ideal solution but there's always another crop to put in their place.
I haven't heard of a resistant variety. In fact, resistance in plants is usually to fungal and viral diseases, rather than insect pests.
Another solution I've heard is to fleece the plants but obviously this is pretty impractical.

Try spraying the pea plants with liquid Derris just as the flowers open and that should kill off the little swines.
Derris is a naturally occuring material so its OK for the organics to use too.
