Hi - has anyone grown Nine Star Perennial brocolli? Does it have a good taste? How many years have you been able to crop it for? I grow a lot of purple sprouting brocolli, but the laziness in me likes the idea of a crop that just goes on year after year !!

I grew it when I first got my allotment, about six years ago. I was very disappointed with it. The 'cauliflower type heads' described in the seed catalogue never really appeared, they were more like a white sprouting broccoli, and the flavour was horrible. I am tempted to put these reults down to poor soil preparation and inexperience, but I have heard others say the same.
