Are aubergine flowers self fertile? Because of the drop in temperature and heavy rain I've had to bring my flowering aubergine plants indoors and am unsure whether the flowers will set without the intervention of insects flying around outside. Do I need to get a little brush out and transfer pollen manually while they're indoors? What happens when they're grown in greenhouses?

I don't know if they are self-fertile but mine always set indoors including a shed with no ventilation so no way in for insects.

Ive been told to spray them with water to help them set. guess that means they're self-fertile.
