Hi

A large colony of ants have moved into one of my greenhouses...any suggestions for a painless eviction?

Dear Weed, i think a kettle of boiling water is fairly painless, unless you splash it up your arm of course.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hello Weed
I've have the same problem in my cold frames most years and, if you want a chemical solution to the problem, have found ant powders containing permethrin very effective.

Thanks for your replies...I do apologise I seem to have posted in the wrong section...put it down to yet 'another' senior moment.

I also did a search for 'ants' and for some reason didn't get a response hence my post.... I guess I fouled up all round

Oh well...todays' another day
