and age old question, but how do i get rid of slugs?????

any suggestions are welcome.

an easy answer - keep ducks

I find bran works quite well and no hazard to the other wildlife just put small heaps near anything that attracts them you can buy it cheaply in the supermarket abot 35p so not too expensive to try !

I have forgotten which way round it is but affects both slugs and snails makes one very ill and kills the other I guess it expands inside them ?

I think it works by immobilising them so at dawn either the birds could have bran stuffed slugs or the sun dried them out. It's even cheaper by the sack from feed merchants.
