Well I haven't seen the magazine itself yet - but £8.99!! That
must be because of all the 'freebies', there's no way that can be the regular price surely??

I saw it in Sainsburys this morning. thought about buying it to see if it was any good. Saw the price and put it straight back on the shelf. you can buy a good book for that much money.

If you go to "another place" on the internet you will find this being promoted, heavily, as a one off magazine format publication.

I thought it might be one of their productions because the look is so similar.

well I think it's well worth the cover price. the DVD itself is worth a tenner and you get loads of seeds - popular veg like courgettes and radish not weird stuff we're being told to grow!! And gardeners always need plant labels!

What "weird stuff"
Advertise it all you like, it doesn't sound as though many of us here think it's a "bargain".

speaking of free seeds, does KG not give any out anymore? I don't think I've gotten any from them in a while. None in June's issue, arrived today.

I must admit I am not that keen on free seeds, because by the time they are given as freebies (on magazines and other goods), I have usually got the ones I want or have at least ordered them, so they are just surplus to requirements. I give them away at our Horticultural Society meetings.
