I still laugh, remembering the Grock walking along Malvern, the tears rolling down saying "I met, sniff, Alan, sniff, Titchmarsh. I'm so happy, sob sob sob"
It was brill and Alan was a complete gentleman. A really nice bloke.

We met the titian bird from gardeners world, Carol Klein and Chantal is going to be famous as she was interviewed on camera for that said program with myself and Mrs Piglet as backing vocals.
Chez, Johnboy and Tigger were also present and a good time was had by all (especially after Chanters crashed the 1989 chateau de meths)

Can we please get a couple of things straight here. Piglet was the star turn with Mrs Piglet and I as backing vocals. I'm easily recognisable as the porky (but not as porky as Piglet - yet) one with pin prick eyeballs which came NOT from the meths but from the painkillers. Thank you Piglet, I am feeling a little better!
Oh, nearly forgot, the camera guys said that Carol Klein was filming a new programme called "Grow Your Own" or something similar all about VEG! I'm trying to find out more about this from my usual sources

I can vouch for that - Piglet was definitely centre stage from my angle. You do surprise me Piggers, I didn't have you down as the shrinking violet type! Can't wait to see/hear your pearls of wisdom on screen.

I'm dreading it, I'd almost forgotten it happened I was so out of it and I don't know what I said, something about Pink Fir Apples. If they use my bit I hope no one I knows sees it, that's for sure. I must have been stoned as usually when I see a camera I run away! However, Piglet was a STAR!

I think stoning was what was, in biblical times, done to adulteresses. Sex discrimination and all that. It was OK for the man to play away, but for some peculiar reason, not the women
Personally I can get 'tired and emotional' with the best of you (I think) but I wouldn't bet my liver on it!
