It's worth it

Hi all
Not been around much on the forum lately but I had to tell someone cos I'm sooo excited!!!!
My donated greenhouse went up at Easter and is full of trays & pots with courgettes, peppers, chilli's, tomatoes (thanks Chantal for the Seeds of Italy tip) and beans (french and runner).
After removing another conifer stump and various roots yesterday I've got a v small patch outside the greenhouse where we planted a bunch of leftover Charlotte potatoes that sprouted before we got round to cooking them. Very much a case of lets see what happens and I've put a row of spinach in too.
I've been running out to the greenhouse every morning and every evening after work to see if anything is new and it's all going great guns now!!!!
We do have an awful lot more work to do to get the rest of the garden even looking like a plot - another skip needed and more conifers to come out so realistically we'll be at it for another year but I feel so positive because we've just got a little bit done for starters.
Also heard our water butt filling up for first time this morning as we welcomed the rain and I'm digging out old issues of KG and re-reading them now I can put tips into practice.
PS you may think I sound a bit odd but I've lived in a rented flat for the last 5 years....
