Evening all,
I have a few varieties of summer raspberries, all no more than 2 years old. Some of them have very yellow leaves - all except the central veins are very yellow. I suspect that they're lacking something, though I don't know what. Apart from the odd colour, they appear healthy and have an enormous amount of flower buds on them.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks all.

Hi Viv

What you describe are the classic signs of chlorosis - iron deficiency - which is aggravated by alkaline soil. It can be reversed by watering with sequestered iron (Sequestrine).

Many thanks, Alan. Can I use the same stuff that I would use on camelias & rhododendrons, etc. as they seem to prefer acidic soil?

Depends what it is - but probably, to acidify the soil.
