What plants that can be grown from seed now are best for encouraging friendly predators into the garden ?

phacelia, limnanthes, clover, any hardy annuals that have single flowers.

French Marigolds are useful too. Don't know about seed, but I generally cheat and get some trays of seedlings from the garden centre.

Like Angi I'd also recommend Limnanthes (sometime sold as "Poached Egg plants") and found them useful in my greenhouse. Here they attracted Hoverflies, whose larvae were good at hoovering up the aphids on my peppers.

Marigolds and calendulas have different properties. Depending on what you want to protect, you may need both.

Just a general question really. Trying to encourage anything and everything as long as its beneficial. Thanks again
