Can I actually FREEZE courgettes? I have made some tomato based sauces with them for the freezer, but can I freeze them in slices or anything? :?

You can freeze them, after boiling them for a minute or so, but I find they go a bit blah in the freezer, limp, even if they started out firm and not as tasty. Ok for soup, but not if you want to use them in slices.

But someone else might have better advice.
