Hello, Just wanted to add a quick post to introduce myself. Found this website site a few weeks ago and loved reading through all the forum picking up lots of advise and tips.
Im Heather, I live in Penrith in Cumbria. I moved to a new house last summer, its a beautiful farm and the Garden is massive, just like a field. There was an up and running veggy patch when we moved in but because of all the work to do in the house it wasnt maintained last year. But this year i am hoping to get a few things growing again. Im new to this, never been in one place long enough (due to my husband being the the RAF) to grow anything much more than herbs.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and hopefully getting some more great tips and advice.
Heather

Thank you all for your kind welcomes. carlseawolf - Yes, chickens hopefully on there way soon. My brother in law has kindly offered to lend me an incubator and help me out with hatching my own! My two boys will love that!
