for every success theres been a few disasters!.what helps is the ground its green sand and drains well,its been cultivated for over 300 years!first as a kitchen garden for stourhead house when it was in private hands,then since the national trust took over its been allotments,and best of all its rent free!

Dear Fish, you might have some good ground, but you must still take credit for growing such good crops. :)
Glad your allotment is not next to mine, the word sabotage springs to mind. :twisted: :D :wink:

One more thing Fish, you gave me quite a shock when i saw your photo, you are an exact double of one of my lifelong freinds. As he looked twenty years ago i hasten to add. :lol:
