Terry Walton (of The Big Dig and Jeremy Vine Show fame) has written a book called
"My Life on a Hillside Allotment" all about his plot in the Rhondda Valley.

It's available for pre-order on Amazon
www.amazon.co.uk search for Terry Walton (the link is far too long for here)

so you can guess what I've just been doing

I'm hoping it tells us more about Albie and his bandanas

I've already ordered it too. He's such a case! Lyndon listens to Radio 2 all day and keeps me posted on Terry's latest advice.

Terry's book arrived from Amazon on Thursday and I am really enjoying it. It's not just tales of his allotment, it's about his life growing up in the Rhondda as well as working on his dad's allotment from the age of 4 and it's fascinating. He took on his own plot aged 11 and had 10 plots by the time he was 17. Hard work

Better still there are lots of gardening/allotment tips, plus his wife Anthea has contributed a recipe for each month.

So it's a brilliant combination of autobiography, gardening and cookery book. I can heartily recommend buying it. 8)
