Not being very computer literate (seem to remember having owned up to this before on the old forum) I am intrigued to know why the 'pens' pictured to the left of the topics are different colours and why some of them move about......or is it just my eyesight?!!!!

Yellow notes with pens (instead of white) show a thread with contributions you haven't read yet. I'm not sure I've seen any of them move though!

I've seen them move and I thought it was my eyesight too or I need to take more water with it. I'm so glad it's not just me...

Just noticed, the pen beside Planting by the Moon is on the move as I write!

I think the moving pens signify a particularly 'hot' topic... I'm not quite sure what constitutes 'hot' but that's why they move!

I'm glad you asked that, I thought it meant someone was in the process of writing a reply when the pens were moving, I've even looked at a topic and gone back to it to see if the new reply had been posted yet!
