Thanks Herby. I've got a primrose from Conrad's nursery and a box of choccies from the older two sons. I doubt much more will happen but I'm living in a household of males, so I'm grateful for what I get!

My first Mum's Day.

My partner took Nugget for a few hours yesterday so I could go shopping with a friend. He got up early with him this morning and was going to surprise me with breakfast in bed and flowers, but I had to get up (for reasons I won't go into) so I scunnered that, but he's now getting Nugget sorted and will probably make or help make breakfast.

Happy Mum's Day to all the Mum's, Gran's and other mothering type objects out there.

My son gave me a music cd and made me a cup of tea. Very nice :D . Unfortunately he didnt volunteer to walk the dog so it was me who got battered by hail stones.
off to the allotment this afternoon if it stays fine. Ironing to do later - well you have everything can you :(

It's a cunning plan of theirs to keep their many houseworking skills secret, but I've rumbled them now.
