Is it safe to eat sprouting old potatoes?, some of last years are starting to sprout, they are stored in hessian sacks in the garage. I don't want to end up with a bad tummy.

As far as I know, they're OK if they're not green. However, if they are very soft, most of the goodness will have gone to produce the sprout, so they won't have much food value.
