Welsummer Cockeral and Barbu D'Uccle Hen

The welsummer cock our bantams hatched out last year has become aggressive towards the bantam hens and cockerals. Up until recently he was fine with them but I've now caught him not just chasing the bantams but one poor hen was being mated by him.....
His spurs are getting larger, around an inch now and if he tries this once they are pointed he'll rip her to shreds.
We don't have runs they have the run of the whole garden and the scrubland on the hill behind us..... What can we do about this?

Cheers guys, we were considering this may be the only option. We'll have to wait until our bantams have gone broody so we can hatch out some eggs and get another cockeral....... or perhaps we should see if we can find someone local with an unrelated strain.
The second batch of hens we bought are the scraggiest bunch of hens I've ever seen and very mean so it looks like he's a cross of them with our old stock cockeral. Just shows the difference genetics make and why you have to be careful when breeding things.

Whether he's still a cockerel (under 12 months) or already a cock, joint and casserole him with a bit of wine and a few vegetables.

I didn't realise the difference between a cockeral and cock.. i.e. age.
The MIL is coming to stay over easter..... perhaps we will have him then....... cider and cumin chicken anyone?
