Well I feel a little bit ‘chuffed’ with myself today; which is unusual for a grumpy old cynic like me. I was working in Dulverton, on Exmoor, and in my lunch hour I thought I would visit the excellent second hand bookshop there. It is well known for a large selection of older books especially on hunting, shooting and fishing and whilst browsing in the gardening section I spotted a hardback copy of The Victorian Kitchen Garden by Jennifer Davies that accompanied the excellent BBC series with Harry Dodson and Peter Thoday. The book is in very good condition with many coloured photographs and all for the princely sum of £2.

What a bargain you got there Barney, i could tell you all about it but i don't want to spoil your read, :)
I too like to have good rummage in secondhand bookshops, and have bought some very nice books over the years.

Happy reading. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
