Hi All

Did anyone watch this program on BBC 3 at 10-30 last night, Last night it was Beef and it did what it say's in the title,Not for the faint hearted as you follow the WHOLE process of taking the beef steer from the farm to the plate and they leave nothing out  :o. Tonight's program is about Lamb.

I did not see the programme but I wish BBC wouldnt put the advert on at children's time! it shows a platter of dead chicken which proceeds to growing feathers, a head and standing up. I do realise children need to know where their food comes from but the ad has given my 4 yr old nightmares. and we had only just moved on from the difficult subject of the nursery guinea pig dying and going to heaven etc. (where is heaven, mummy? can we get an aeroplane there, mummy?)

Oh dear, it's not the place for it but never mind. What a rod you make with such fantasies. When a guinea pig dies it is dead. When you die you are dead. Life is maths, physics and chemistry nothing mysterious or long lasting.
