I was in Homebase this morning and found a range of "contractor" tools that seem worth looking out for.
Longhandled, point tip shovel, aka an american spade, under £20.
Longhandled english digging spade, under £15.
Both with fibreglass shaft and plastic D handles.
Anyone tried them, or in need of a spade?
