If there's something amongst them that you want to save, like a recipe, a personal letter or someone's address, you can cut, copy and paste it into word and file it on your PC.

Is it me going mad or what?
I've posted two pm's to GIB in reply the the posting on my Rapeseed Straw thread in General Chatter and they haven't replied. I then checked and they aren't in my sent box. I've also posted this question earlier today and that disappeared.
Any ideas? (I do use the old interface)
Can anybody see if my pm's went?

Geoff, have you checked your out box? Your messages sit there until they are collected by the other person and then move to the sent file. It's not like email.

I wasn't putting in a title and failing to read the error message. Users - don't you just love them - you can tell I work in IT support can't you?

It's gone from Outbox to Sent so I suppose they have picked it up.
Thanks for your help - you made me open my eyes!

Dear Geoff, you don't know how much better that's made me feel, knowing i'm not the only one that does silly things.

OH
I'm sure all of us do silly things at times - it's just a few who don't realise it
