Did anyone see the huge green moon this morning? I threw back the curtains at 6am this morning and ducked! As I rubbed my sleepy eyes and peered round the edge of the curtain I realised it was a moon not some large UFO coming across the fields at me.. :? Didnt realise there was a lunar eclips coming - Any lunar boffins out there who can tell me what it is all about? It it a rare and mystic event or something?

The big eclipse is Saturday night - or so I'm told. Hope it stops raining so we can see it!

Hi Sue,
I have just heard on Radio 4 that the Lunar Eclipse will occur Saturday night and Scotland is said to have the best viewing chances as we plebs down here will be in the clouds. I didn't hear a time mentioned for the event.

Been thanked: 1 time

The BBC say that most of England will have clear skys tonight and the eclipse will happen in the "first half" of the night.
