The BBC weather forecast for the next few days is fine and dry down here, although Sunday is forecast for fog, hopefully the plot holders will take delivery of manure from our young farmers for which we are donating money to the local special care baby unit.

I hope to finish off repairing the greenhouse frame and reglazing it with the polycarbonate I have brought from B&Q.

Then it will be muck spreading, digging, tidying up and thinking about sowing seeds etc, laying out the tates for chitting. Will be nice to get on the ground without sinking down two feet!!

What is on everyone elses mind for the next few days

PS I know that this is in danger of being the only posting in the thread, but I am not paranoid!!

Seed sowing definitely. Peas and sweet peas, some hardy annuals, what else should I be sowing? Someone remind me! :P
Weeding, weeding, weeding. And trying to persuade DH it's time for the hard landscaping we didn't get done last winter.

I guess that sowing tomatoes with a bit of heat under is a good idea to get them going nice n early?

Onions also, and prepare some ground for early parsnip, carrot and early lettuce sowings.

My neighbour usually puts up a small home made poly tunnel to warm the ground for early sowings of spuds, peas, and a few other delights.
