How could i forget

My dear Jopsy, i don't really know what to say, but how did i manage to forget your birthday.
Please will you accept my very belated birthday greetings, i really think that i should be whipped with a kettle flex for over looking such an important occasion.
I didn't even relize when you said about spending your birthday money, did you get anything nice by the way, a good cookbook maybe.
I really am sorry for forgetting.

i bought an art book
what's the point in cookery books when it'd still be inedible!
