Rampant Raspberries

A couple of years ago I planted just 5 canes of Autumn Bliss along the side of a raised veg bed. They have done very well - however they now want to take over the world and I have found new canes springing up all over the place! I'm thinking about sinking a scaffold board next to them to try and keep them to one place - will this work? Has anyone had a similar problem and managed to "house train" their canes??

Dig up the rampant rovers and replant as a new row, or trade with fellow plotholders. :D

They are shallow rooted so you may be able to contain them. As Peter says, trading is good, alternatively just keep hoeing the new shoots off as they come through.
