Well she's off to a good start using Genesis as the backing music :D

Nope and she's still on. I think her squeals of delight as she digs her first spuds up just about says it all. :D

Well, Carol was enthusiastic, i wondered what the squeals were for, for a minute.
I must be getting miserable, but the backing music really annoys me, on any programme.

No, I think I agree with you OH. I was happy with the music as an intro but it became increasingly intrusive; I thought it was just me being grumpy. :? Having said that, I enjoyed the programme and although I didn't learn anything new it's always good to revise things as such. Her obvious enthusiasm is infectious and makes me want to get out on the plot. :D

One more thing, i wish my heavy soil was as crumbly as Carol's clayey soil.

I'm with Chantal and Herby.

I don't mind intro music but anything else is just unnecessary. Some of it sounded like someone doing a really bad Jimmi Hendrix impersonation.

As for enthusiasm, fair enough. She looked and sounded genuinely thrilled with her first spuds. If it makes people go out and have a go then fine. It's all added power to the allotment and grow your own food movement. That way, we can have more troops in the army to fight back against the multi national supermarkets and those purveying crap food to the nation.

Up the revolution Brothers and Sisters
Lots of love

Lizzie
