sprouts

had a look at the veg in our local supermarket yesterday, they had sprouts in a 0ne kilo pack at 90 pence, loose sprouts @ 97 pence a kilo and peeled sprouts at 70p for 300 gms, no prizes for guessing which ones appeared to be selling fastest

Hi Richard,
I fortunately never have to buy Spouts but I feel that I would elect for 97p per Kilo as long as I was allowed to select the ones I wanted.
The amazing thing the other year was that Sprouts got to 72p per Pound and they were 4 pence dearer than frozen Turkey! I suspect that Supermarkets can be accuse of profiteering at this time of the year on just about everything.
Just a kindly reminder. Will you please not send any more of that Sprout Wine to the party this year!!
I suspect the reberberations are still lingering in the Liverpool area.
