Praise indeed

Hi forum folks. Not been around much recently to chat to you. Had a great morning digging over the allotment ready for next year, but rain has stopped play now.
My allotment is heavy clay and you could have made bricks out of it when I took it over. Winter digging consisted of turning over huge clods of earth and hoping the frost would break it down into something usable.
I've been composting for England and digging it all back it for the last few years and today I had to stand back and admire the soil condition with my new allotment neighbour for a good 10 minutes or so (gee how sad am I
) He's one of the old boys and has just given up a huge (immaculate, soil from Harrods if you know what I mean) plot to take the half plot next to me. 'That's the best I've seen your soil, you have done really well with that' he said. Praise or wot
Sue
