Hello Clive or anyone else that might know, do you think a set of Dowdeswell rotavator blades 9900L / 9901R would be the same as a set of Howard Gem blades G.900L /G.900R.
I can apreciate this is a very long shot, thanks for any help.

Hi Old Herbaceous. Re Gem blades.
The G900 and G900/1 with 3/8" diameter holes used up to machine number4870. These have been replaced by part number 9923 and 9924 ( left and right hand )
which are the universal type blades. The rotor flanges will need the holes drilled to 29/64" .
From machine number 2541180 the blades will be part numbers 9923/4.
For latest information on blades i suggest contacting Standens of Ely ask for the stores and Keith Beazley, He was at Howards then Dowdeswell when they took over, and now at Standen Engineering who took over from Dowdeswell, and have all the spares.
Regards
Chris
