Just a note of caution for everyone for this evening.

Tigger rang me in a state of extreme excitement and agitation at 9.10am. She was at the Good Food Show and had ALREADY been cuddled by James Martin.

She'll be on line later and I suspect totally uncontrollable.

Thanks for the warning Chantal

I shall don my tin hat and battan down the hatches.

You do realise that she'll still have that faraway grin on her face for the rest of her life. She'll be staring into space and sighing deeply, still smiling.

I wonder how Lyndon feels about this?
Lots of love

Did they get Mr Martin to the hospital within the "golden hour"?

Is he pressing charges?

Did Tigger make bail?

When does the ASBO come into force?

How did I know you lot might have started????

You can tell how excited I am - I've got to be at Bridge Club in 30 minutes and I'm here instead.

Anyway - I turned up early at the NEC and was hanging around when I heard a gentleman saying that the JM person was going to formally open the show at entrance 19, so I made haste to the said venue, armed with my copy of KG.

The Express and Star reporters soon arrived and asked me where I had travelled from and so on. On my bestest behaviour I answered their questions and then told them that I was hoping to give James a copy of KG as he was now such a keen gardener.

So, the lovely man himself arrived and there I stand beaming in an uncontrollable fashion at him. He was photographed cutting the ribbon, then the journalist told him about me and I stepped foreward and told him about the magazine and you lot, gave him his copy, which he took and had a look at. Then he put his arm around me and the journalist took our photo. :?

I may never recover.

I'll get in touch with the paper tomorrow and see if I can get a copy of the picture(s).

I was just expecting to leave the magazine with one of his minders when I went to see him in the kitchen theatre, so this was a big bonus.

Oh happy days.

PS - Lyndon's happy too - I bought him lots of goodies and kit. He just feels sorry for JM.

I hope the poor bloke doesn't use his real name if he comes on the forum...

Could you imagine it Tigger, him turning up at a KG forum picnic under some psudonym.

Well done girl. :D

Dear Tigger, are you sure you are telling us everything. :?:
That sounds like very good behaviour, for a woman possessed  :D

She certainly sounded possessed when she phoned me this morning. Possessed, hysterical, utterly insane and totally wonderfully happy. :D I doubt she'll do well at bridge tonight; probably get kicked out for grinning and telling everyone.

Tigger.....
Forget passing the biscuits. Cookies completely boring today, unless James cooked them........!

You have done a completely BRILLIANT thing today, and an even MORE brilliant thaing for the magazine...
Did 'The Cuddle' send gorgeous all the way through you ?!

The Piglets are 'hot-trottering' it next, to keep up the KG 'awareness onslaught' - poor James !!
OUCH ! Thwack just came in from Leicester......!

Really pleased you had such a great time Tigger.
That's what it's all about.
What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. The good they do is inconceivable....

Guess who won at Bridge tonight too?! I think I should have bought a Lottery ticket today.

Apparently the picture of him cutting the ribbon and me grinning gaumlessly behind him is in tonight's Express and Star. No good to me - we get the Shropshire Star, so I'll be leaving for work early tomorrow morning in the hope I can track down a copy in the Black Country.

Good luck for Friday Piglets. Treat him gently, he'll be getting tired by then.

News hot off the press - HRH himself is on this week's Saturday Kitchen. Another keen gardener.

I had never heard of James Martin so I googled and found this

http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/chef_biogs/m. ... mes_martin
How much does he know about gardening?
There are many others with the same name so be careful that you get the right one.
