Just testing to see if I can post a photo of the snow outside my kitchen window this week before it melted. Oh dear it looks a bit fuzzy !

I think you need to reduce the photo a bit, go to www.photobucket.com and you can shrink them to blog size etc. Looks pretty impressive anyway :wink:

Hi

Good to see snow in Sussex I lved near Brighton for a few years and don't recall very much snow at all.

Last week Visit Scotland (the tourist agency) took a bunch of travel writers up the Cairngorm muntain funicular to experience real winter conditions. One of them was from Sussex and he sounded so excited saying that it was such a rare event for Sussex folk - maybe he should have stayed at home. I'm about 60 miles North of the Cairngorms on the Moray firth - no snow here in the last week - very benign -but we always have a laugh when an inch of snow in London makes the news headlines. More "spring" cabbage today to go with the roast.
