Gentlemen
Have you seen the carry on over(james Martin Digs Deep) :? was he that chubby lad from Yorkshire :o who apparently grows his own veg, also does a bit of cooking and dancing on the TV. I do not know what all the fuss is about myself

Kind Regards

One of my old gentleman friends who I went to primary school with thinks very highly of Mr Martin, however my friend does "travel on the other bus".

Kevin,
I wish I could find words to comfort you, but Wellie's wearing the apron tonight and won't let me.!
See how she feels tomorrow, eh?
No, kidding....
He's a great guy, and I CAN understand why these gorgeous ladies like him, but then I'm biased. He is actually a very good chef. (Takes one to know one...!)
No, Count me in.... let's bury the guy...He's just FAR too good, and FAR too gorgeous !
That's it for now,
Trousers

cos of all the hype on tother thread i watched one of his programs last night, it started off in the garden then went in to make a courgette rissotto, he gushed on about the taste of the fresh veg whilst the bulk of the dish was rice, what looked like prawns and chicken stock and whilst he was cooking he was continually wiping his runny nose with his hand, fraid that was the first and last time i shall watch..... dare i say i prefered fork to fork with monty don

Well i bet there's been more ladies look at this topic than blokes, just to see if they are missing anything.
Any of you blokes got a favorite lady cook or garden presenter. :?:

You caught me OH - I was having a sneaky read  Can't see it with Mr Martin myself although his new programme isn't bad. My hubby goes all misty eyed and dreamy over Nigella Lawson. He was quite partial to Rachael De Thame, but Sarah Raven scares him stiff and he won't watch Gardeners World when she is on. Reminds him of all the formidable ladies in tweeds and sensible shoes who barge him out of the way with their bosoms at the RHS shows I drag him to

His all time fave presenter though is Suzy Perry on The Gadget Show - she could read out train timetables and he would watch

Dear Sue, I fully agree with your hubby about Sarah Raven, but i'm not so sure about your choice of words, about what she does to him. :D

I wouldnt kick her out of bed on a wet Sunday morning.

But as for JM, Top man, no his suit ,not him. I agree that he is just a fat Yorkshire man, but hey, I'm just a Fat Leicester man.
