Following on from an earlier thread about the postal scam, if you receive an email about some dodgy scam or hoax and arn't sure whether it's genuine or not, there's an excellent website which will tell you.

It's called www.hoax-slayer.com

It gives examples of all the latest scams doing the rounds on email. You can also sign up to receive a regular free email updating you on all the latest scams, virus warnings, etc. doing the rounds. Many of us in the past have perhaps received these warnings and passed them on in good faith, without realising that they were, in fact, hoaxes. This site will provide that info.

Well done Primrose, in the work environment a hoax can cause almost as much nuiscance as a real virus or scam. :D
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
