On Gardeners World Monty and co did some vegetable gardening and mentioned more that one veg!

Tigger, how did you get Monty to sort out your Asparagus?

Puzzled that with all the references to shredding stuff before composting Monty's compost was so full of twigs.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

I don't usually watch but I did this time and the content was much more to my liking than any that I have seen previously from them. However I don't understand why they are still obviously growing Whitloof chicory when the hybrids (Zoom & Apollo) are a vast improvement in not bursting out and in the size of the chicons. Also it's time they learned not to cut the tops straight across but just to peel off the outer leaves and clean up generally, leaving the growing tip intact and no damaged leaves to spread rot.
It's great that GW is now on broadband, not before time either, I don't know why there haven't been any second ordinary showing before.
Here is a link. When you get there, there is much else to explore.
