Made me laugh

The’Spotted Dog’ Pub Landlord was very upset when his dear dog Spot was run over. Regular customers collected enough money to have Spot’s waggy tail framed in a glass box on the Pub wall. Sadly after closing time the Landlord was off to bed when he heard a scratching noise on the front door. It sounded like dear old Spot so he opened the door to find it was Spot who came running in and said “ I went to heaven but they won’t let me in without my tail so I have come to collect it. The Landlord said “ I’m so sorry Spot you know I’m am not allowed to retail spirits after 11 pm !”
