Watching GW this evening. Did MD plant the garlic upside down? Will garlic right itself if planted the wrong way up? Help! Planning to plant tomorrow (rain and work permitting).

I missed it first time round so I have just watched it on broadband and I must admit it does look like he has but not 100 per cent sure it was filmed through some netting and on broadband is not very clear so might have to give him the benefit of doubt

I understand totally what you're saying because it's completely NUTS to plant your garlic upside down, and if MD DID, it obviously won't go un-noticed !

Try and plant it the right way up, there's a good girl (!) No point doing things 'arse about face' unless you WANT to see if it works t'other way round, eh?!!
