I don't see that getting out is an option now but as we are in to stay it is up to us to fight our own corner as vigorously as we know how. With the vastly increased membership there is a much better chance that there will always be splits and compromises. The big change that I would like to see is GB taking back control of our own fishing areas, for the good of not only ourselves but all the other members long-term.We would then have the right to impose any conservation rules strictly.

Can we make Yorkshire a seperate country too? I'd love for my homeland to be free from the tyranny of southern rule...

Yes I thoroughly agree, yorkshire should be separated from the rest of England and then perhaps the rest of us could be spared from their constant moaning.

im not sure about ukip, if we had proportional representation there would be some point, but certainly at the last election the ukip vote mainly came from disgruntled conservatives which meant a lot of labour mps were elected on minority votes which has saddled us with more Blair. its a sad state when you cant vote for someone you want, but have to vote for the lesser of two evils to try to stuff the other one

A sad state indeed. I voted Liberal last time as an anti-Iraq war protest and the Tories got in over here.
Apparently there's a website where you can vote-swap on trust in order to use the electoral system as effectively as possible.
