Sharm El Sheikh

We Piglets are off scuba diving next week to sunny Egypt and will be staying as Sharm.

Being big time foodies are there any things out there that are much cheaper or better than what is available over here, with the obvious limits on weight.

Saffron and possibly other spices spring straight to mind.

Any info or reccomendations will be greatly appreciated.

Chic-peas, humous and falafel occur to me - various delicacies in ready-to-mix packets. Turkish style coffee too.

Enjoy yourselves.

Hang on Herby

I've got a couple of balti dishes here and a bit of net curtain.

Will that do since Piglet can't smuggle in belly dancers for you

I can do belly dancing, I think. I went to the doctor feeling all fat and horrible, to be told by a locum that I was "perfect". He was from Saudi, and it may have been a lie by English standards but it made me feel good until I left the room. Just put Shakira on and leave me to it.
