Not fair. Looked at metcheck last night and it said it would rain in the morning but be dry in the afternoon. Planned my day accordingly and what has it done? Yes- been dry all morning and now I`ve finished doing the things I had to do and am free to go to the plot its started to chuck it down.
Frustrating or what?
Never mind at least it means I wont have to pick any more patty pan. Every cloud etc.......
Seedling
huh!

I wondered where you were this morning when I was up there digging. I forgot to read any weather reports so looked at the sky this morning, made the flask of tea and spent the morning ripping out the rest of the rubbish runner beans.
However, it looks as if might be clearing up.

Sorry Piggers, but I'd rather be here, rain or no rain
and the only shit I want to deal with is 10 years old and on my plot.
Have a great holiday.

Seedling's away at a conference today so luckily for her she's missed the torrential rain, thunderstorm and localised flooding we've just had. It's so dark I've got the lights on and so cold the heating is on too; although this is mainly to try and dry all the washing!
I managed a full 20 minutes at the plot this morning before being rained off by a "shower" which hasn't stopped in nearly 3 hours. I am NOT a happy bunny!

With nothing to do except watch the rain and the TV, the flippin' satellite has gone down! Any minute now I'll lose my ethernet connection and my day will be complete!

Well I've cleared out the greenhouse
. Nice work for rainy weather. Also sowed some saladings for winter and picked some lovely peppers that are still going strong.

Sadly I did all the greenhouse work yesterday when it was merely a little showery. Today's rain was of biblical proportions with the roads flooded, thunder, lightning, the lot. It was so bad that even venturing out of the back door ensured a soaking. It's stopped now and the clouds are clearing but as it's dark, much use that is.
My only consolation is that the first thing I did when I arrived at the lottie this morning was to pick/dig tonight's dinner. We'd have been on baked beans otherwise.

Hey Piggie One
Do you need some cream rubbing on yet?
I've made sure that Grock has had her callouses sandblasted off and had the talons cut with the larger of the loppers.
As for the vodka, Grock prefers whiskey and I don't need strong drink to make me complient.
Ready when you are
