My sunflower blew down in the wind this past weekend. By dint of putting it at a slant, I got it into my estate car and took it to school. The children measured it and it was 3.25 metres. I have 2 taller ones still standing. However, the fallen one did not reach the school record for this year's sunflower, which is 3.5 metres and still growing.
