For those of you out there who are still struggling to string and slice your runner beans and then nearly choke and put your kids off them for good, go and get a Krisk bean stringer and slicer-it does exactly what it says and is the best gadget I have in my kitchen. We are eating beans by the bucket full now and they are fantastic.
You can get them for about £3 from lakeland or just search Ebay or Google for it.
Every bean grower should have one!!

You can buy them for £1 from Wilkinsons and other hardware shops. :D
