Wohoo
I was chatting to a friend yesterday and she told me AT is coming to our nearby town on Tuesday afternoon to sign his new (non gardening)book
I was thrilled, i told my mum and auntie who are down visiting at the moment, so they decided they want to come to as does my dad-how sad a family outing to Ottakers!
Anyway i just thought Grock n Lizzie may want to know!! not that Devon is anywhere near you-shall I try and get his picture?(with me on his knee?)

Dear Jopsy i bet Mr.T will really be looking forward to your family visit, if he knew.
I bet he won't wash he knee for months, either that or he will need a knee replacement
The Grock might even ambush him on the way down to your pretty neck of the woods.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Jopsy you could always ask him to come and sort your garden out for you.
And maybe cook him a meal.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Say hello from me - I know my place in the queue Grock, but he's so sweet.........and I've got all of his books, even the non gardening ones. Only James Martin and Robbie Coltrane come before him - and they're both much taller and bigger!

You know - I`ve avoided this thread since it came up because I thought you`d all be saying sarky things about decking and generally being horrid about AT which would have upset me!
How wrong can you be?
Cheers, (sheepishly) E.F.

Dear Jopsy - "how rude"? I wasn`t being rude - I`m a great admirer of AT and have read his books with great interest.
Dear Johnboy - I don`t know Monty Don, although I`ve seen a glossy gardening book with his name on in the book shop in town. Is he on the telly?
Best wishes, EF
