Ineed to plant something along a 20yard stretch of my fence so that I dont look into my neighbours backyard,something not too tall or wide,low maintenence.

Hi Byrpat,
May I suggest Lonicer 'Henryii' as it is an evergreen
Honeysuckle that will grow as high and as far your secateurs will allow it. The added advantage is that you will only need the one plant if you train it properly.

My immediate suggestion would be clematis. Try one spring-flowering and one which flowers in late summer. They'll complement the honeysuckle.
