As I now have 15 jars of pickled gherkins and the things are still cropping like mad (sorry JB), does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can do with them? Don't suggest using them as cucumbers as I have them too.

No problems. The way it's going you can have a couple of dozen! I'll save some for the next time we meet. :D

Not good - means they are going over and will turn bitter.

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't get around to planting out mine, so any spare (Chanters) would be very welcome. I'll swap for a selection of pickles, jams, bottled fruits, chutneys, whatever - name your price.

OK, although they may taste disgusting. I've never done them before and haven't tried them. You've been warned.

The pickled gherkins are turning white in the jars - have I done anything wrong ?
