We're back - did you miss us?!

Hi all

Lizzie and The Grock have returned from our jolly camping jaunt. We both behaved ourselves, nearly, and didn't cause too much trouble.

Apart from one night but no-one knows it was actually us so I think we might have got away with it.

So, what'd we miss then? Anything at all?

Plus, where's my Herby? I've had no-one to torment me all week, apart from Grock of course

My dear Lizzie i certainly have missed you.
Feeling a bit low a the moment, due to having my dog put to sleep.
Glad you all had a good holiday.
I'll soon have that big grin back on my face, i'm sure.

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Am I going to meet you at Malvern?

Herby, i'm sorry about your dog. I know how that feels. Bloody horrible. Hope you're feeling better very soon and have that stupid, naughty grin back on your chops again.

Hi Jenny

Not sure about Malvern, will have to see how the cash goes. It's school uniform time so we'll see. Would love to go though as it's mine and Grocks favourite flower show. From all the ones we've been to Malvern is the best there is.

Herby - so sorry to hear your news, although I know that nothing I say can compensate for the loss of a friend.

Lizzie - glad to have you back!

Thanks Zena

I'm sulking now cos I want to go back cos it was so nice there. I had my eye on this lovely, fat, heather fed lamb but the woman who owned the site said she wasn't going to slaughter it for me!!!!

Pah, I say. Get the thing carved up, bagged up and shoved in the freezer!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed your trip
Did you steal the lamb??
Herby sorry to hear about your loss-big squishy hugs

No Jopsy, didn't steal lamb. But she did look as though she would make some very tasty chops!!!!!

Loved the holiday and am converted now to camping. Scenery fantastic, weather ok (well, rained every night but hottish through the day)managed to cook competently on the camping stove so we didn't starve.

Yep, I could quiet happily live under canvas. So, if anyone's got a field handy I wouldn't mind moving in.

As for you Jopsy, where have you been? We've missed you. OH started shredding his leaves early cos he was pining for you

Hi Lizzie,
So far we have only your word that "The Grock" is back. News of the said "other half" would be most welcome.
I am dearly hoping that you both will manage to get to the Malvern Autumn Show as I want to be there when "The Grock" meets "Piglet!!" That will be one for living memory as no other!!
Sincerely, JB.

Certainly would be a memorable meeting JB. Would be worth a film crew, other media and a personal injuries lawyer being present!!!!

The Grock is definitely back. She was camping with me and the family and I spoke to he yesterday. The scale rot is clearing up nicely and she's started to grow some new ones.

She's hiding out in the lair with the little Grocklets as she has to go back to work next week which makes her a very sad Grock.

We will try to get to Malvern JB but will have to see how the cash goes first. With the kids being back at school it's all uniform expenses and stuff. Will work on it though.

Big hugs to you JB
