Has anyone had experience of the Tropf Blumat automatic watering system and its application to container growing particularly of vegetables. All I can find on Internet is the basic instructions. The system seems superior as it is sensitive to the actual growing conditions unlike any other system I know of. I have already got a basic kit and am about to install it on my fishboxes of radishes with multi-purpose compost. I suddenly realised that after initial successes things were going wrong and it turns out that with a capillary wick system they had become totally waterlogged, hence the change.
