Hi Happymouse,
It may be alarming to find a Slow Worm in your compost but they are totally harmless and will not
do anything untoward with your compost. I have my doubts that it will stay there now that it has been detected but will be off to pastures new.

How nice.
Note that they are a protected species.
A housing re-development was held up for months locally while they were humanely trapped and re-located. Pity, would have rather kept them and not had the houses.

It's a good thing Happymouse - they eat slugs so are probably hunting in your compost bin. We have them at our allotments and I find them quite often in my compost bins.
