Blackberries

I know that someone said, a while ago that they had picked blackberries. However, my blackberry. Fantazia, which should be ready to harvest, in late August, has already given me 5lb of fruit. As well as that, the hazel tree in the hedge at the bottom of my garden, is loaded with nuts, far more advanced than I have ever seen them. Question is, are we headed for an early cold winter. Nature always seems to know!
